Boating and Fishing in the Manukau habour and over the Manukau Bar

A small change to the first page this month, which I am sure the members wont mind. Our premier social event, the 50th anniversary of our club is to be held on the 7th of July. All ex and current members are invited to attend at our clubrooms on that date. The events will start in the morning with a breakfast and a get together, followed by a fishing competition. (I am sure that there will be more than this arranged, so keep up with the news here or at the club). There will be a formal dinner in the evening, followed by entertainment,and much bragging, bullswool and nostalgia I am sure. Please register as soon as possible at the bar in the club rooms..

T-shirts and polo shirts are on sale at the club rooms to celebrate this event. Order one of each with your next pint at the bar.

AGM .. please note that the clubs AGM will be held on the 27th of May. Nominations for all positions in the club are open now. Collect nomination forms from the bar in the club rooms, have the nominee, proposer and seconder sign the form and give it back in at the bar please.

Take a kid Fishing

8th April

This great day was held on the 8th April as planned, with a real heap of youngsters out there on the briney trying to snag a decent sized fish - something to out do mum and dad perhaps... There were 40 kids out there, and I am sure they all enjoyed it.. Our thanks to the skippers that took them all out.

I dont have any further details and no photoes as yet, but I will put them up here as soon as I receive them
